Olympia‘s Valley Estate––what a little hidden gem! Those willow trees as a backdrop for the ceremony? I’m still in awe.

This NY-SF couple found us back in 2018. They were already planning a long engagement and we did their engagement session what seems like a million years ago!

In fact, it’s been so great getting to know these two they definitely feel like friends at this point. It was almost four years until their wedding actually happened, what with pandemic-related rescheduling!

Sarah and Scott were lucky enough for most of their vendors to be able to move to a new date, so it was quite a triumphant day when they were actually married. We loved their vows, as they definitely alluded to the fact that this wedding had been a long time in the making.

Sarah mentioned to me during their album design consultation that the feel they were aiming for was a lot like the reception in the barn from Schitt’s Creek. That New York-meets-small-town vibe.

This gem of a venue nestled in the rolling hills of west Petaluma definitely fit the bill! The bridal cottage is so quaint and ornate––truly a dream to photograph within. The styling of the whole estate was just lovely. We couldn’t recommend it more!

There were some epic toasts––truly a family of great speechmakers. Typical roasting of the groom and talking about how divine the bride is!

I’m so happy we made it up to the top of the hill where the cows were hanging out for sunset photos. You know, dancing between the cow pies! Luckily you wouldn’t know it from the photos and video. 

A few shoutouts––thank you Josh of Dreambook Productions for the beautiful video content! It is also important for us to mention that wedding planner Lisa Bravo made everything go off without a hitch. 

Perhaps the best part was when we managed to get all 120 people together for a full guest photo! It was truly a spectacular day and we are so happy to have been a part of it.
